I am selling the original cyanotype print executed from a silver negative made by myself in my studio in Auvers sur Oise near Paris (France).

The landscapes of Auvers sur Oise are known by the period of the impressionist painters, more particularly by Corot, Daubigny, Manet, pissaro or Vincent Van Gogh who produced many world-famous paintings, Vincent Van Gogh is also based in Auvers sur Oise.

This print is an original chemical transfer, not a print from a printer.

This is a unique copy of which each reproduction is different, each original is printed on thick watercolor paper 250 to 300gr. The print underwent a green tea or coffee toning to slightly alter its blue color and create gray nuances. This original print is signed and dated.

Info: Cyanotype is an old monochrome negative photographic process, through which a Prussian blue, cyan blue photographic print is obtained.

This technique was developed in 1842 by the English scientist and astronomer John Frederick William Herschel. Colors may vary slightly due to computer monitor settings.
