Lace leaves / large format cyanotype 50X65cm.
Original cyanotype print made from a negative produced in my studio in Auvers sur Oise near Paris (France).
All photographs and prints are made by hand by me, very often using medium and large format film and digital cameras.

This print is an original chemical transfer on watercolor paper. It is a unique piece, each reproduction being slightly different depending on the application of the light-sensitive surface. Each UV print is made on thick 250-300gsm watercolor paper.

This original print is signed.

Note: Cyanotype is an early monochrome negative photographic process that produces a Prussian blue, or cyan, photographic print. This technique was developed in 1842 by the English scientist and astronomer John Frederick William Herschel.

My studio is located in Auvers sur Oise, on the painters' route, this town is known for the period of the impressionist painters, more particularly by Corot, Daubigny, Manet, Pissarro or Vincent Van Gogh who lived and produced many world-famous paintings, Vincent Van Gogh is also buried in Auvers sur Oise.
