Original cyanotype print executed after a digital negative made in my workshop in Auvers sur Oise near Paris (France).
All photographs and prints are made by hand by me, in film and digital very often by means of medium or large format film cameras.
This print is an original chemical transfer on watercolor paper. It is a unique copy of which each reproduction is different, each Ultraviolet print is made on thick watercolor paper 250 to 300gr. These prints are executed either in direct sunlight or under ultraviolet insolosa.
This original print is signed.
Info: The cyanotype is an ancient negative monochrome photographic process, through which one obtains a Prussian blue photographic print, cyan blue. This technique was developed in 1842 by the English scientist and astronomer John Frederick William Herschel.
My studio is located in Auvers sur Oise, on the way of painters, this city is known for the period of impressionist painters, more particularly by Corot, Daubigny, Manet, Pissaro or Vincent Van Gogh who lived and made many world-famous paintings, Vincent Van Gogh rests in Auvers sur Oise.
The colors and hue of blue can be slightly nuanced due to the settings of computer screens.
